This is an upbeat be-bop tune composed by Ray Brown when Phineas Newborn was a part of his trio. Much of Newborn’s be-bop language on the piano has been exploded and expanded to fit the full ensemble. There is a saxophone soli as well as space for trumpet, piano, bass, and saxophone solos.
